Digital Membership Card

The PGR digital membership card provides a safe and secure way to store and access your membership details and rewards. Your membership card can be downloaded to your smartphone (available for Apple Wallet, Google Pay or in PDF) and presented to us when you stay any of our hotels to access your VIP members rewards and benefits. You can also use your card to view your member details at any time including your current member status and points balance.
To activate and download your digital membership card you will need to login as a member on the PGR website and go to the EDIT PROFILE tab in your ACCOUNT. You will then be required to follow these 3 simple steps.

  3. Select your preferred smartphone download method
Note, you can select to download your digital membership card for Apple Wallet, Google Pay or PDF.
Yes, you can print your digital membership card. Simply select your digital membership card option as PDF and download to your desktop or internet to print. Your printed membership card can be presented at any of our hotels to access your VIP membership rewards and benefits.
You can re-download your digital membership card you will need to login as a member on the PGR website and go to the EDIT PROFILE tab in your ACCOUNT. You will then be required to follow these 3 simple steps.

Benefits of membership

Members should to request the late checkout at least 24 hours prior to departure Note - Late check-out is subject to availability at the hotel and therefore cannot be guaranteed.
Upon check in, your Welcome drink will be loaded onto your digital membership card. If the membership is attached to the reservation at check in, the Welcome drink will be loaded within 4 hours. Take the membership card to any of the participating restaurants or bars and present it to the staff to claim your free Welcome Drink. Note - the Welcome Drink must be consumed during the stay in which the drink was acquired and cannot be saved to be use at a later date or subsequent stay. Welcome Drink is for House Beverages only. Welcome Drink is limited to 1 beverage per booking.
Entry level Gold Priority Guest Rewards Members & Platinum level Priority Guest Rewards Members can receive a 20% discount on bills for food and beverage costs when dining at the Participating Event Hotel or Resort restaurant for up to 4 diners. Black level Priority Guest Rewards Members can receive a 50% discount on bills for food and beverage costs when dining at a Participating Hotels restaurant. Please note the following conditions:
  • Excludes breakfast, mini bar, room service, conferencing and events
  • The member must be staying in the hotel and be present at the time
  • There are 4 or less people dining at the table
  • There is a single bill
  • The member must present their membership card prior to payment or room charge
  • The 50% Black discount applies to a maximum of 2 diners (to a maximum of 4 diners) with any additional diners receiving the 20% discount
  • A maximum discount of $500 (AUD or NZ) for any transaction.
  • The Powerhouse Hotel Tamworth by Rydges offers a fixed 10% to Gold and Platinum members, where applicable.
  • The member F&B discount does not apply in the following instances:
    • QT Bondi
    • Rydges Darwin Central
    • Rydges Gold Coast Airport
    • Rydges Palmerston Darwin
    • OVAL Hotel
    • The Pensione Perth
    • The Ultimo Hotel
For the sake of clarity, the PGR membership discount on beverage is only applied when a PGR member is dining within the restaurant or bar with all food and beverage purchases placed on a single restaurant/outlet bill. The PGR membership discount does not apply to members or their guests who are not dining nor for "beverage only" purchases at any restaurant or outlet.

Different tiers of membership & joining

No, membership is free.
Entry level membership remains valid unless (i) the member attains a higher tier status, (ii) the member chooses to terminate their membership or (iii) the Program Operators cancel the membership. In order to retain Platinum status members must continue to maintain a rate of 5 qualifying stays or 10 qualifying room nights in a calendar year. In order to retain Black status members must continue to maintain a rate of 10 qualifying stays or 30 qualifying room nights in a calendar year. Members not achieving the requalification criteria for their current status will be sent a new membership card for the tier for which they qualify.
No, membership is free.

Members will qualify for one of three tiers of membership. Priority Guest Rewards membership (standard tier) Entry Level Membership tier members receive a gold coloured digital membership card upon their enrolment. Platinum Priority Guest Rewards membership (mid-tier) An individual must continue to stay a certain number of Hotel Room Nights or Hotel Stays at Participating Hotels in the subsequent calendar year at qualify. Currently, 5 Hotel Stays or 10 Hotel Room Nights per calendar year is required to either attain or retain Platinum Priority Guest Rewards Membership status. Multiple Room bookings on the same night will not contribute to tier upgrade, as the member only occupies one room. Black Priority Guest Rewards membership (top-tier) For those that complete 10 qualifying stays or 30 qualifying room nights across our participating hotels in a calendar year. Retention of this tier requires 10 qualifying stays or 30 qualifying room nights in the subsequent calendar year. Multiple Room bookings on the same night will not contribute to tier upgrade, as the member only occupies one room.
Individuals aged over 18 years old can simply enrol online at any of the following websites; www.priorityguestrewards.com or any Event Hotels & Resorts brand website or any of the participating hotels via the PGR kiosk. Membership is free.

Earning, redeeming and expiry of points

Yes. Once redeemed, Priority Guest Rewards point are non-refundable and expire if not used within 6 months from the date of issuance. Priority Guest Rewards point's offers cannot be exchanged for cash or any other services.
To redeem a Priority Guest Rewards points offer at a Participating Rydges, QT or Atura Hotel or Resort, members will require a sufficient point's balance and logon to their membership profile at www.priorityguestrewards.com and purchase the offer from the Rewards Shop. Points are automatically deducted from a members account balance and the offer electronically applied to the digital membership card. Members must be an in-house guest and are required to present their digital membership card upon arrival at the hotel and again at the hotel restaurant or bar to redeem & remove the offer from their digital membership card.

Free Main Meal Offer is NOT available at the following sites: QT Bondi, QT Gold Coast, QT Sydney, QT Melbourne, QT Wellington, QT Perth, Rydges Townsville, Rydges Darwin Central, Pensione Hotel Perth & The Ultimo Hotel. Free Buffett Breakfast Offer is NOT available at the following sites: QT Bondi, QT Gold Coast, QT Sydney, QT Melbourne, QT Wellington, QT Perth, Rydges Darwin Central, Pensione Hotel Perth & The Ultimo Hotel. Rydges Canberra offer a $20 Voucher to be used at The George in place of the buffet breakfast.
Yes, points can be redeemed for the following items:
  • 20 points - Two Standard Drinks Includes two local or imported standard bottled beers, two tap beers (schooners or similar), two house spirits (rum, vodka etc.) two glasses of house red, white or champagne (excludes cocktails, premium sprits or wines)
  • 30 Points - Free Breakfast Includes standard buffet breakfast for one person (excludes espresso coffee)
  • 40 Points - Free Bottle of Wine Includes for one bottle of 'house' White, Red or Champagne as currently listed on each applicable outlets Wine List.
  • 40 Points - Free Main Meal Includes one main meal item to a maximum value of $28. The difference for any main meal item exceeding $28 is charged to the individual. Free Main Meal excludes special event functions and promotions.
  • 80 Points - $50 Rydges Gift Card This includes a $50 Rydges Gift Card. The $50 Gift Card is mailed via Standard Australia Post service to the address provided and will take 7-10 business days delivery. Cards are issued with a fixed 36 months validity period and can only be shipped to Australian or New Zealand addresses. Rydges Gift Cards cannot be used at QT Hotels. Cards will be issued in the amount that is purchased online and will be locked in the currency selected. AUD $ cannot be used in New Zealand & NZD $ Cannot be used in Australia
  • 150 points – Reward Room Night This offer is for a standard room only and is subject to availability.
  • 300 points - Reward Room Night at QT Bondi, QT Sydney, QT Newcastle, QT Melbourne, QT Auckland, QT Wellington This offer is for a standard room only and is subject to availability.
From 1 November 2012: For Reward Points to remain active and available for future redemption, the Member must have a Reward Points earning activity in the prior 18 months. If a Member has not had any Reward Points earning activity over an 18 month period (Non-Active Period), then all Reward Points earned by such Member at any time before the end of the Non-Active Period will automatically expire. Furthermore, regardless of a Member's Reward Points earning activity, any Reward Points that have not been utilised 36 months after they were earned by a Member will automatically expire.
Redemption free room night stays are subject to availability. Free room night inventory is available each night, but is limited and, once booked at any hotel on any given night, additional Free Room Nights will not be made available. Members should plan and book their Free Room Night redemptions well in advance to ensure the greatest possibility of securing their preferred Free Reward Room Night dates.
No, once your Priority Guest Reward booking is confirmed, points are automatically deducted and cannot be reversed. Please choose carefully as points cannot be refunded.
Once you have reached the required number of Reward Points for a Reward Room Night booking you will need to log onto your membership profile, you will notice the option to “Book Now”. Simply click on this link and follow the prompts to redeem a free night at any Participating Hotel or Resort. Note, if the hotel has a 'Free Night Award' available, the ‘Redeem’ button is visible and you are able to confirm your booking. If the 'Free Night Award' option isn't clearly displayed, you are NOT redeeming a reward night and the reservation will proceed and be processed as a standard paid member booking. A Reward Room Night booking covers the cost of a standard double room only. It does not include breakfast and does not cover other costs such as laundry, parking, telephone, meals and drinks. Such costs will need to be paid by the Member. Please note - Reward Room Nights are not offered during the Ski Season at Rydges Horizons Snowy Mountains (which runs annually between 01 June to 03 October).
You'll need 150 Reward points for a Reward Room Night booking at all Participating Hotels other than QT Bondi, QT Sydney, QT Gold Coast, QT Newcastle, QT Melbourne, QT Auckland and QT Wellington where 300 Reward Points are required. Reward Room Night bookings can only be made direct online at www.priorityguestrewards.com or Event Hospitality and Entertainment websites.  Reward Room Night bookings are based on 2 adults occupying a standard room only, all other applicable charges are the responsibility of the member.

Reward Points take up to 7-10 business days following check- out to appear on your online account. If your reward points do not appear after this period, please contact our Member Services team at www.priorityguestrewards.com and we'll investigate the issue for you.
Yes, if a member books, pays in their name and is a guest in one of the rooms, they may earn Reward Points for up to three rooms for any night stay. The reservations must remain under the members name and the membership account booked with. Guests can be authorised to check into the room by adding their names into the comments of the reservation.
Members can earn Reward Points with each qualifying room night stay where that room night stay has been booked directly on Event Hospitality & Entertainment branded websites, or within Event Hospitality & Entertainment Participating Hotels, or via selected Wholesale Channels either direct to the Wholesale Agent or via the online agent portals in conjunction with their membership. If a booking is made any other way, it will not earn Reward Points. Please note some room rates, such as certain promotional or group booking rates do not earn Reward Points. Reward Points earned per room night stay are 10 points for entry level members, 15 points for Silver tier members and 20 Points for Black tier members.

Making a member reservation

Generally bookings made direct online at www.priorityguestrewards.com or direct on Event Hospitality & Entertainment branded websites, or within Event Hospitality & Entertainment Participating Hotels, or via selected Wholesale Channels either direct to the Wholesale Agent or via the online agent portals, in conjunction with their membership will earn Reward Points. However, some promotional room rates and group bookings will not be eligible for Reward Points. If uncertain, please check with the hotel concerned prior to booking.
Log in to your account on Event Hospitality & Entertainment branded websites, or within Event Hospitality & Entertainment Participating Hotels & search availability at any participating Hotels & Resorts or via selected Wholesale Channels either direct to the Wholesale Agent or via the online agent portals, in conjunction with your membership profile.

Membership card

Upon signing up online at www.priorityguestrewards.com or at the hotel using the PriorityGUEST Rewards terminal, an email will be sent to your email address. Once you open the email, it will require you to log into your account using your email address and password. Here you will need to update your details (name, email address, postal address, 4 Digit PIN code & Phone numbers) you will not need to update your password. You will then be able to select from the following:
  • Apple Wallet for IPhone users
  • Google Pay for Android users
  • Or PDF
Once you have selected which digital version you would like downloaded, an email will be sent to you with your digital membership card to be accessed to download. The 4 Digit PIN Code is for you to be able to redeem points while staying at a hotel for rewards. This is something that you will choose to set as the PIN.
If you have lost your membership card, you are able to download your digital memberships as many times as you need. Following the steps in the previous link will issue a new Digital membership. Alternatively Contact our member services team at www.priorityguestrewards.com.au/contact-us/

Membership number / pass / details / unsubscribing

Contact our member services team at www.priorityguestrewards.com.au/contact-us/ and we will cancel your membership for you. No cancellation fees apply should you wish to cancel your membership.
On regular occasions we will email PGR members exclusive deals, special offers and promotions for our hotels and resorts. Should you wish to unsubscribe from our mailing list and our email distribution lists, click the 'unsubscribe' link at the bottom of our newsletter, otherwise you can email our member services team at www.priorityguestrewards.com.au/contact-us/.
You can log into your online account and update your information online. Once you've updated or amended your details, click on 'Edit your profile' button and this will automatically update the information in our database.
Passwords are set by the member when they enrol in the Priority Guest Rewards program. If you can't recall your password you need to go to https://www.priorityguestrewards.com/login/ and click 'forgot password?' to fill out your surname and email address for an automatic email to be sent with details to allow you to reset.
If you have more than one membership number, email the member services team at [email protected] with the details of both membership numbers along with any current or past email addresses and specify which number you prefer to retain and the team will merge the duplicate profiles.
Your membership number is issued as soon as you enrol via a participating website or enrol at a participating hotel. Members receive a digital Membership Card and their membership number is shown on that card which is emailed upon first enrolling at the participating hotel or branded website. The format is a capital R and seven digits (RXXXXXXX). You do not need a membership card to make a booking and you can log on to our website using and your email address and password combination that was used to enrol.

New program enhancements

No – DISCOVERY memberships are no longer accepted as an eligible membership with EVENT Hotels. All bookings past 1st December 2021 will receive Priority Guest Rewards benefits and DISCOVERY Benefits are no longer offered. PGR membership format is a capital R and seven digits (RXXXXXXX).
For PGR members who joined after 04 August 2014 or existing PGR members who've ‘opt-ed’ in at www.priorityguestrewards.com and staying at a GHA Discovery Hotel outside of the Event Hotel or Resort group will receive the below benefits when booking through their Discovery Loyalty account online at www.discoveryloyatly.com prior to 1st December 2021. On 1st December 2021 PriorityGUEST Rewards and DISCOVERY Loyalty have separated and are no longer accepting membership bookings of the other loyalty program. All bookings made after 1st December 2021 will receive Priority Guest Rewards benefits.
